SRSO Receives Excellent Jail Rating

Since the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office jail is used to house Federal prisoners the facility receives an annual inspection by the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. An inspection was conducted on August 3, 2006 and the community corrections manager Mr. John A. Gaither stated in his final evaluation that, "The overall operation of the facility was found to be excellent. The building appears to be in great condition and the sanitation was impressive. No major problems were noted during the inspection process."
