Investigators Asking For Public's Help in Locating Absconded Sex
Offender
The
Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the publics help
in locating a registered sex offender that is wanted for absconding
from his permanent residence. The same subject also has an active
warrant for failure to appear for court. The suspect, Scott Henretty
is a registered sex offender after being convicted of strong armed
rape in Tennessee
in 1999.
Henretty was also arrested in Escambia
County,
Florida
in November
2005 for Kidnapping and Sexual Assault, however the charges were
dismissed and Henretty pled to a misdemeanor battery. Henretty is
known to travel back and forth between Okaloosa, Santa
Rosa ,
and Escambia
counties.
Henretty was last seen walking in the Milton
area near
his last known residence in the 6200 Block of Morgan Road. Henretty
claims to be a self employed rapper/entertainer and operates a business
named “Blessed Entertainment”. Henretty has an extensive criminal
history and the Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone with information
concerning location to come forward.
Anyone
with information concerning the whereabouts of Henretty is asked
to call the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 983-1190 or Crime
Stoppers at 437-STOP. A photograph of Henretty is attached to this
