PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff's Office Helps Establish Neighborhood Watch in Gulf Breeze Tomorrow

On October 27, 2007 the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office met with the Tiger Point community to help make their neighborhood a safer place to live. The residents of Tiger Trace Subdivision established a neighborhood watch and they will be officially posting their “Neighborhood Watch” signs in their neighborhood. The Sheriff's Office assisted by conducting a bicycle registration, fingerprinted children, and hosted a cotton candy machine. The neighborhood held a gathering on Safari Court off of Tiger Trace Boulevard to signify the start of this “Neighborhood Watch”. The Sheriff's Office is encouraged and proud that the citizens in this neighborhood are being proactive in helping to keep their community safe and crime free.
