Honor Guard Academy

Sheriff Wendell Hall and his staff will be hosting the Honor Guard Academy for law enforcement agencies who wish to begin their own honor guard or brush up on their unit's skills. The course is designed to provide them with the basics in standardizing their training methods on proper drill movements and techniques, leadership enhancement, and team confidence building. Included in these lessons are ceremonial movements, church and casket protocol, flag etiquette and folding, honor guard commander leadership training, various type of funeral services, and color guard formations. The workshop will be held at the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office from November 8-10, 2007.
