Sheriff Promotes Crime Prevention

Sheriff Wendell Hall made a presentation to the Emerald Coast Women's Club on Thursday September 6, 2007. The luncheon was held at the Soundside Club on Highway 98 and was attended by approximate seventy-five members. Sheriff Hall was asked to speak on the topic of crime prevention methods and his agency's efforts in these areas. The organization has a total of 170 members who donate their time and money to worthwhile causes. One of their latest contributions was to the Santa Rosa Kid's House soon to open in the county on Stewart Street. The sheriff covered such items as identity theft, computer crimes, residential surveys, business surveys, child seat programs, senior citizen exploitation and many more.
