Child Safety Course

On Sunday September 23, 2007 a special presentation was made at the First United Methodist Church on the topic of Child Safety. Sheriff Wendell Hall provided one of his crime prevention specialists, Cindy Sarver, as part of the "Parenting Series," offered by the church on how best to protect your child from a myriad of endangerments. The presentation was free to all members of the congregation as well as any guests that wished to attend. Ms. Sarver had previously given a course on "Senior Safety" to their YaHa group (Young at Heart Always).
