Members
of the Holley Navarre Senior Center are the proud recipients of
four computers, donated By Sheriff Wendell Hall and the Santa Rosa
Sheriff's Office. These computers have opened up the world of technology
for the county's senior citizens. Seniors can now learn all about
the vast number of informational topics available while surfing
the internet. They can learn how to avoid becoming a victim of Identity
Theft and various other scams inflicted upon the nation's senior
citizens. They can locate old classmates, read up on the day's news,
plan a trip and even do their taxes. By taking a few basic classes
on computers, they can bring the outside world right into their
homes. Classes are already planned for the basics to be offered
at the senior center plus advanced classes as well. Sheriff Wendell
Hall and his staff have always been extremely supportive of the
senior citizens in Santa Rosa County and were more than pleased
to have had the opportunity to provide these computers for their
use.
