Pace Man Arrested for Molesting Child

A Pace man has been arrested for molesting a 3 year old girl. The alleged incident occurred at the man's residence located in the 4500 block of Sanford Street, Pace, FL. This alleged incident occurred in late December 2006. According to reports, the suspect, Ramon Arthur Paulsen (65 years old), had the juvenile victim go into his bedroom and bathroom for "private time" and told her that it was a secret. Paulsen also told the victim that if she told anyone, she would get in trouble. Once in the bedroom and bathroom, Paulsen told the victim that they were going to play "jail" and then exposed himself and made the victim touch his genitals. The victim disclosed this to both of her parents shortly after the incident occurred. During an interview with Paulsen, he stated that he had been playing "hide and seek" and "jail" with the victim on the alleged date of occurrence. Paulsen first stated that the victim may have accidentally touched his genitals on top of his clothing while he and the victim were playing jail in the bedroom/bathroom area of his house. Paulsen later admitted that while they were playing Jail in the bedroom/bathroom area of his house he became aroused while the victim was with him and his genitals became exposed. Paulsen said that he asked the victim to touch his genitals and to put it back inside of his pants. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Paulsen and he is currently being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond. The charges are listed below and a photograph is attached to this email.
