Searching For Suspects in Two Pace Home Invasions
On
07-14-07, Santa Rosa Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 4400 block
of Jernigan Road, Pace, FL, in reference to two home invasion robberies.
Dispatch advised deputies that a third party called the Sheriff's
Office because the victims of the robberies did not speak English.
Upon arrival, deputies tried to find out what had happened. Deputies,
with the help of a translator, were able to determine that two armed
home invasions had occurred at two different trailers. One of the
victims stated that two black males entered his trailer and put
a gun to his head. One of the suspects told him to go face down
on the floor and then started going through his pockets. One of
the suspects took the victims cash and his cell phone. The suspects
then ran out the back door. The other victim stated that two black
males came into his trailer with guns and took a large amount of
cash. A silver 4dr Pontiac (Approximately a 2000 model) was seen
leaving the area very quickly. The suspects were armed with
what is believed to be a submachine gun (possibly a Tech-9) and
a semi-automatic handgun. Anyone
with information relating to the identity of the suspects or the
identity of any witnesses to the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers
at 437-STOP or the Sheriff's Office at 983-1100.
