Man Arrested for Sex Offense Against a Juvenile
Santa
Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested a Navarre man
for committing a sexual offense against a juvenile. The investigation
started when investigators were contacted in reference to a juvenile
being inappropriately touched by Francisco Sanchez (31 years old)
while the female juvenile victim stayed the night over Sanchez's
house. The alleged incident occurred in May 2005 when Sanchez was
living on Greenbriar Court, Gulf Breeze, FL. The victim told investigators
that Sanchez entered the room in which she was sleeping and began
to touch her in a sexual manner underneath her clothing. When the
victim was awakened by Sanchez touching her, Sanchez left the room.
When the victim went back to sleep, Sanchez re-entered the room
and began to touch her once again. She was awakened again, at which
time Sanchez left the room. During the investigation, investigators
found that another female juvenile that was also present at Sanchez's
residence when the alleged incident occurred was touched inappropriately
by Sanchez two weeks later. During this incident, Sanchez allegedly
offered the victim money to not tell people that he had touched
her. Sanchez was interviewed by investigators and denied the allegations.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Sanchez for the below mentioned
charge. Sanchez was arrested without incident on 2/27/07 and is
being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond. A photograph
of Sanchez is attached to this email.
