PRESS RELEASE

DEPUTIES MAKE ARRESTS IN RASH OF BURGLARIES IN PACE

Sheriff's investigators have made two arrests of the people that were responsible for the rash of burglaries that occurred on May 22, 2007 in Stonebrook Subdivision in Pace, FL. A total of seven burglaries were committed on that night (six vehicles and one residence). Shortly after the burglaries, the suspects were captured on video surveillance at the Whataburger at the Five Points Intersection in Pace. They were using a debit card that was taken in one of the burglaries to purchase food. The investigation, along with the video surveillance tape, identified two suspects that were responsible for the burglaries. The suspects were identified as being Thomas Hembry-White (19 years old) and Tiffany Marshall (20 years old). An interview was conducted with Marshall , at which time she admitted to participating in the burglaries that occurred on May 22, 2007 . Marshall told investigators that she and Hembry-White went to the Stonebrook Subdivision and that she aided Hembry-White by driving him, waiting for him, and picking him up, with the specific intent of committing the burglaries. Marshall stated that they then went to the Whataburger and purchased food with a debit card taken from one of the burglaries. The credit card was also used to purchase gas for their vehicle. Hembry-White was also interviewed by investigators and stated that he was involved in the burglaries that took place in Stonebrook Subdivision. Marshall and Hembry-White were both arrested on the below mentioned charges. It should be noted that in all of the vehicle burglaries, the vehicles were left unlocked. In the residential burglary, the victim's garage door was left open. The Sheriff's Office encourages property owners and vehicle owners to always lock their vehicles and their residences, as well as keeping their garage doors shut. If they don't they are making themselves more prone to being the victims of suspects that are involved in vehicle and residential burglaries. Photographs of both suspects are attached to this email.
