Whiting Pines Parade

Due to the weather these events have been postponed unitl Thursday October 9, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. At that time the annual Fire and Safety Event will take place at the NAS Whiting Pines Housing subdivision off of Berryhill Road. The Santa Rosa Sheriff's office will participate in this event as they have for a number of years. There will be a short parade through the subdivision, prior to the actual event taking place. The participants will line up for the parade at 4:45 p.m. The SRSO motorcycle squad as well as Sheriff Wendell Hall will participate in the parade portion of the event. They will also have a K-9 demonstration team and depending on their schedule the SRSO Mounted Posse plus a crime prevention display with the fatal vision glasses on hand for the attendees to use.
