Suspect Arrested After Robbery and Shooting Incident in
Milton
Santa Rosa Deputies have arrested the suspect responsible for a robbery and
shooting that occurred during the late afternoon of 10/21/11 on Julia Drive
in Milton, FL. Pierre McIntosh (B/M, 19 years old) was arrested shortly before
8pm on 10/24/11 after the victims of the crime observed him as a passenger
in a vehicle and alerted the Sheriff’s Office. The original incident
occurred shortly before 3pm on Friday. The victims in the case stated that
they drove to Julia Drive to pick up a person known to them as “John
John”. Once they arrived, “John-John” and another person
(McIntosh) entered the backseat of the victim’s vehicle. McIntosh then
pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the victims. The victims were
able to flee in the vehicle once McIntosh exited. As they were driving away,
McIntosh fired four shots at the victim’s vehicle, with one shot striking
a tire. A 3 year old child was inside the vehicle with the victim’s
when this occurred. The victim’s reached safety and contacted the Sheriff’s
Office. Investigators and Crime Scene Technicians arrived and began their
investigation which continued through the weekend. Once receiving the above
mentioned information from the victim on 10/24/11, deputies were able to locate
and stop the vehicle, at which time McIntosh was detained. The victims and
witnesses to the shooting were able to positively identify McIntosh as the
suspect who committed the robbery and shooting. McIntosh was also wanted by
the U.S Marshal’s for an outstanding warrant out of Kentucky. McIntosh
was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault, 1 count of Discharging
a Firearm in Public, 3 counts of Robbery with a Firearm, and 1 count of Felony
Cruelty towards a Child. He is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with
no bond. The arrest and offense report are attached to this email.
