Sheriff's
Office Still Looking for Leads on Suspect's Identities in Pace Bank
Robbery
Investigators
are continuing their investigation into the robbery of the United
Bank in Pace that occurred on 5/30/08
. Shortly
before 1100 hours, a hold up alarm was received from the United
Bank located at the corner of Diamond
Street
and Highway 90 in Pace. When deputies arrived, they found that three
black males had entered the bank, armed with semi-automatic handguns,
and demanded money from the clerks present inside the bank. After
retrieving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled from
the bank. They left the scene in a stolen SUV that was found abandoned
a short distance from the bank in the Floridatown area. Surveillance
photographs taken from inside the bank were retrieved and show the
suspects involved in the robbery. A surveillance photograph also
reveals a suspect that was inside the bank shortly before the robbery
occurred. It is believed that this individual may be tied to the
robbery and investigators need to question this individual. The
robber's identities are not known at this time. It is also believed
that two of the robbers were wearing wigs in the photographs. Anyone
able to identify the suspects depicted in the photographs is asked
to contact the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 983-1190, or
Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP Anyone providing information to Crime
Stoppers that results in an arrest is eligible for a cash reward
