Pensacola State College Conducts CSI Classes

Sheriff Hall and President Ed Meadows from Pensacola State College have joined forces to bring reality to the college's crime scene program. The carcass of a pig was purposely buried several months ago at the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office in East Milton. The CSI Technicians class at PSC descended upon the "crime scene" on Saturday April 30, 2011 and conducted a "real live" pig dig. SRSO CSI Supervisor Charlie Peters walked the students through their paces as they exhumed the carcass "by the book." The students applied the techniques they've been studying for the last two semesters in the classroom under the tutelage of their instructors. Both Sheriff Hall and President Meadows are striving to produce an environment to prepare the students for competitive jobs in the field of law enforcement. For photos of the dig click here.
