Navarre Woman Arrested for Sex Offense Against Juvenile

A Navarre woman has been arrested after Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office investigators determined that she was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15 year old male. The complaint was initiated on October 10, 2008 , after a complaint was filed with the Department of Children and Families. The complaint that was received alleged inappropriate activity between the child and the woman, who was identified as 38 year old Sheila Langman. The child and Langman were both interviewed by Sheriff's Office investigators, who were able to determine that Langman had been sexually involved on multiple occasions with the child between the months of July and September 2008. Based on the information that was obtained during the interviews, Langman was arrested yesterday afternoon shortly before 4PM . Langman was transported to the Santa Rosa County Jail and charged with Lewd or Lascivious Battery. She is currently being held on a $10,000.00 bond.
