Navarre Walgreen Robbery

On May 17, 2008 at 4:17 PM the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Walgreen's at 8220 Navarre Parkway in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. Witnesses reported that an adult black male wearing a white shirt with horizontal stripes, dark long pants and a ball cap had approached the counter with a Hallmark gift bag. The clerk rang the purchase up and placed it into a Walgreen's plastic bag. The suspect then placed a silver semi-automatic pistol on the counter and told her, "put the money into the bag." The clerk froze and called for the store manager at which time the suspect grabbed the plastic bag off the counter and walked out of the store. According to witnesses the suspect went behind the store and disappeared. Please see the attached photos of the suspect to broadcast to the public for identification.
