Arrest Made in Milton Home Invasion

Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators have arrested an individual in reference to the below mentioned home invasion robbery that occurred on 2/10/09 . Investigators arrested Stephen Allan Wilson (W/M, 26 years old, 5100 Block of Lake End Drive, Milton) on the charges of Home Invasion Robbery and Grand Theft. Investigators were able to extract DNA from a ski mask that was located near the scene of the crime. Preliminary findings from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement revealed that the DNA matched the DNA which had been obtained by investigators from Stephen Wilson. Investigators also determined that other witnesses had stated that Wilson had discussed robbing the victim prior to the crime. Wilson later admitted to being present at the home of the victim on the night of the crime. Wilson is currently being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $255,000.00 bond. The second suspect has also been identified and investigators are asking for the public's help in locating him. This suspect is Brandon Joseph Harris, W/M, 19 years old. He currently has active warrants for Grand Theft and Home Invasion Robbery. On 2/10/09 at 1938 hours, Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to 5414 Swanner Road , Milton , Florida , in reference to a home invasion robbery. When deputies arrived, they spoke to the complainant/victim, Mark Henderson (43 years old). Henderson stated that he was watching television in his living room with his five year old daughter at the time of the incident. While they were watching television, two suspects rushed in through the back door of the residence wearing all black clothing and black ski masks. The suspects placed a sheet over Henderson 's head and began to beat him. The suspect's were described as white males, with a stocky build. While one of the suspect's beat Henderson in the head, the other suspect reached into Henderson 's pocket and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. As the suspects went to leave, Henderson pulled the sheet off of his head and tried to grab the ski mask off of one of the suspects. Both suspects then fled out the back door. Henderson suffered a cut lip, bloody nose, and a cut on his right arm. No weapons were displayed. Henderson 's immediate concern was for his daughter, who he couldn't see due to the sheet being over his head. Henderson located her in her bedroom, crying, but uninjured. It is believed that the suspects left in a vehicle that was parked nearby. Henderson refused medical treatment for his injuries. Investigators are asking anyone with information concerning the identities of the suspects to contact the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 983-1190, or Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP. No further information is known at this time.
