Sheriff's Office Asking for Public's Help in Identifying Two Vehicles Relating to Cemetery Burglary Investigation
Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the vehicles depicted in the attached pictures. These two vehicles were present at the Circle K Convenience Store located at Dogwood Drive and Willard Norris Road in Milton shortly after the burglaries occurred. These vehicles were present together in the parking lot by the gas pumps at the same time a credit card was used that was stolen during the burglary. Investigators need to speak with these individuals in order to further the investigation.
Vehicle #1: Late Model “Mega Cab” Dodge Pickup truck, white, dark logos on the side doors and tailgate. Fuel tank in bed resembling a diamond plate tool box.
Vehicle #2: Late Model Grayish Green SUV 4 door

Numerous Vehicles Burglarized During Graveside Funeral Service in Milton
On Saturday, August 6 th, 2011, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to 6208 Stewart Street, Milton, FL (Serenity Gardens Cemetery) in reference to numerous vehicle burglaries that occurred during a graveside funeral service. When deputies arrived, they found that five vehicle burglaries had occurred while the owners were attending a graveside service approximately 50 yards away. The burglaries occurred between 1040 hours and 1130 hours. Three of the vehicles that were burglarized were left unlocked. One of the vehicles that was burglarized had a side window that was broken out with a window punch, allowing the suspect(s) to gain access. The fifth vehicle was damaged due to the suspect(s) attempting to break out two side windows with a window punch. The glass didn't shatter as planned, but several small cracks were present showing the attempted entry. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1000.00. The suspect(s) took items such as purses, cash, cell phones, identification cards, credit cards, and other miscellaneous items. The total value of all items taken is approximately $3382.00.
