Sheriff's
Office Asking for Public's Help in Identifying Lego Thieves
The
Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help
in identifying an individual that stole $735.00 worth of Lego's
from the Target Store in Pace on Monday. On 11/16/09
, at approximately
1545 hours, a white male exited the Target store after packing a
shopping cart full of Lego sets. The male suspect made no attempt
to pay for the merchandise and was seen exiting the store and entering
a gray van. A second subject (blonde white female) was seen exiting
and entering the same van, as well as exiting the store shortly
before the male suspect. Photographs of both are attached, as well
as a picture of the van. The van is believed to be a late 90's Honda
Odyssey, gray in color, with no hubcaps. The male suspect was wearing
a New York Yankees Baseball cap. A video of the suspects and the
van is available but cannot be emailed due to its size. Anyone with
information concerning the identities of the two individuals is
asked to contact Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP, or
the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 981-2230.
