Sheriff Fills Open Vacancies

Sheriff Wendell Hall filled several vacancies on December 15, 2008, left open due to budgetary cutbacks this year. No new positions have been added and other departmental positions will not be able to be filled for some time. A swearing in ceremony was held Monday and three deputies, six detention officers and three reserve deputies were sworn in. Deputies Brian Veysey, Joshua Goodwin, and Lucas Jordan were added to the law enforcement roster while Kim Carr, Kim Cox, Eric Hays, Ronald Malston, David Walls, and Branden Rusnak joined the detention staff.
