Sheriff's Office Asking For Public's Help in Identifying Fraud Suspects

On Sunday, May 18, 2008 , an unknown white male suspect purchased a 40" High Definition television at the Pace Wal Mart. Upon his taking the purchased television to his vehicle, he gave the receipt to another white male suspect, who then attempted to exit the store with an identical 40" HDTV, using the same receipt. Both suspects then left the parking lot in what is believed to be a black Chevrolet 1500 or 2500 4x4 pickup truck.

Approximately one hour later, the legitimate television that was purchased by the first suspect was returned at the Wal-Mart on Creighton Rd. , in Pensacola for a refund. The suspect's identities are not known at this time. Anyone able to identify the suspects depicted in the photographs is asked to contact Detective Wheeler at 981-2234, or Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP. Anyone providing information to Crime Stoppers that results in an arrest is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.00.
