Sheriff's Office Asking for Public's Help in Locating Wanted Fugitive

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a Navarre man that is wanted for numerous felony charges. Frank Desalvo (38 years old) has active warrants stemming from a home invasion robbery that occurred on Frontera Street in Navarre on September 24, 2009 . During that incident, Desalvo and another individual allegedly entered a residence of an acquaintance on Frontera Street . Once inside, they pointed a handgun at the homeowner and threatened to shoot them if they didn't cooperate. Desalvo and the other individual then ransacked the house, stealing cash, jewelry, narcotics, and a handgun. The suspects broke all of the phones inside the residence prior to fleeing. Desalvo should be considered possibly armed, and dangerous. Desalvo's current whereabouts are not known. Anyone with information concerning his location should contact Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP, or the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 983-1190. A photograph of Desalvo is attached. His current outstanding charges are listed below.

Frank Joseph Desalvo, W/M, 38 years old, 5'08”, 150 lbs.

1900 block of Luneta St., Navarre , FL

 

CHARGES:

Grand Theft, 3 rd degree felony

Grand Theft of a Firearm, 3 rd degree felony

Home Invasion Robbery with Firearm, 1 st degree felony
