Family Wellness Fair 2012

On December 9th a Family Wellness Fair was held at the Milton Community Center for families under the Milton Housing Authority and the general public. Informative and educational stations were set up including a Sheriff's Office crime prevention display, the Region 1 Gang Task Force display, Healthy Start, Covenant Hospice and many others. Legal services were provided by Legal Services of NW Florida and employment services were provided by West Corporation. The focus of the event was to emphasize nurturing a healthy, well-rounded Family Unit. The goal was to make Santa Rosa County residents aware of the programs that are available to them and to connect them with the groups that can assist them in striving forward to meet their family's needs in terms of family self-sufficiency.
