67-Year Old Milton Man Arrested for Molesting 5-year old Child

Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators have arrested a 67 year old Milton man after investigating allegations that he molested a 5 year old child. Investigators received a report this past weekend that the suspect, Jack Maynard, had molested a friend's child in early July 2008. Investigators located Maynard early this morning and he was interviewed regarding the allegations. Maynard made statements to investigators admitting his inappropriate behavior and confirmed that the allegations made by the 5 year old victim were factual. Maynard was arrested on the below mentioned charge and is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond. A photograph of Maynard is attached to this email.
