Update to Law Enforcement Involved Shooting

 

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office has been informed that David Christopher Lewis died on 12/15/2011 at 2040 hours as a result of injuries he sustained during the shooting incident with the United States Marshal's Task Force at an address on Camille Garden Circle in Santa Rosa County on 12/09/11. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is deferring all inquiries concerning the death of David Christopher Lewis to the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
