Milton Man Wanted on Felony Charges After Failing to Pay Over $62,000.00 in Child Support

A Santa Rosa Judge has signed a felony arrest warrant after Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators were able to show that a Milton man has failed to pay over $62,000.00 in child support to his ex-wife. Stanley G. Nelson has not been paying his child support over the past 6 years. A judge's order was issued on 1-22-08 , ordering Nelson to pay the owed child support to his ex-wife in the amount of $58,972.00, with an additional $3,145.67 in interest. Nelson was divorced from his ex-wife in 2002. His ex-wife was awarded sole custody of both children. Nelson has made no effort to attempt to pay the child support owed to his ex-wife for the care of his minor children. A photograph of Nelson is attached to this email. Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Nelson is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency, or Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP.
