Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office investigators are asking for the public's help in order to solve a recent string of car burglaries. During the nighttime hours between February 13 th and into the morning hours of February 14th, 17 vehicles were burglarized in subdivisions off of Hwy 98 in Gulf Breeze. All of the burglaries were in close proximity to each other. During these crimes, 16 of the 17 vehicles were left unlocked by their owners. The other vehicle was burglarized after the unknown suspect threw a brick through the window to gain access. Different types of valuables were taken from the vehicles, to include money, handguns, credit cards, electronics, purses, computers, jewelry, and clothing.
